Welcome to My Hounds Hotel
Fully Licensed by Mid Suffolk District Council
Pet Business Insured - covering Public Liability cover to £2,000,000 and including Care Custody and Control
A happier alternative to Boarding Kennels, ‘My Hounds Hotel’ offers dog boarding for your pet within our family home.
We can offer daily, weekly or weekend boarding at competitive prices.
As dog lovers, we have two dogs of our own, so all guests must be able to socialise well with other dogs.
Unfortunately we cannot board any kind of Bull Terrier, Dobermann, Rottweiler or German Shepherd. This is for the safety of other dogs as well as our own.
Guests must also be house trained and fully vaccinated.
Please contact us for prices and availability.
Sleeping Arrangements
Dogs can sleep in our own dog’s downstairs room, the lobby, kitchen or conservatory. All have plenty of light and are very spacious and warm.
We would like you to bring his/her own comfy and familiar bed, and if they sleep in a cage, bring that too.
That way they have the sanctuary of their own space-home from home.

Privacy
Most dogs enjoy the company of others and are happy to muck in together, but if anyone wants to be on their own they can do so here.Food
We understand from the experts that most dogs benefit from the same food, served in the same receptacle, at the same time of the day, and we are happy to go along with that.
So, ideally we would like you to leave a supply of their favourite food, and an indication of how much to give, (bearing in mind the extra exercise) and when. If you like to give your dog a treat from time to time we are able to cater for that too.
Garden
We have a decent sized garden, a large lawn to play on or just stroll around and gate access to open fields from the bottom of the garden.
Exercise
Your dog will enjoy daily walks in open countryside, on or off the lead. Longer walks can be catered for the more energetic dogs, or for the elderly less able, shorter walks will be taken.

Relaxation
In the evenings the dogs are invited to join us and flop down on the rug, whilst we watch the TV and relax.
During the winter most dogs like nothing better than to sleep in front of the warm fire!
